With 4 ties in the fourth period, the Wynford Lady Royals were able to edge out the Colonel Crawford Lady Eagles by two points with a 49 to 47 victory.
Wynford saw a 7 point lead at the end of the third quarter vanish as Crawford’s offense put up 13 points while allowing the Royals only 8 points in the final stanza.
In a game which seen 6 players score double digits Ellie Richmond led the Lady Royals with 13 points.
Sarah Ogden added 12, and Maci Cooper contributed 10 points in Wynford’s second win of the season.
Colonel Crawford’s Katie Siegel led the Lady Eagles with 13 points, Jada Klingenberger scored 12, and Cassie Sager added 11.
With the loss Colonel Crawford drops to a 3-2 overall record.
The Bucyrus Lady Redmen saw an early first quarter 8 to 5 lead evaporate into a 52 to 31 loss to the Seneca East Lady Tigers.
Bucyrus was led by Gabby Seibert with 13 points.
Seneca East’s Seina Adachi led the Lady Tigers with 20 points.
The Buckeye Central Buckettes defense held the Crestline Lady Bulldogs to just 2 second half points on their way to a 66 to 7 victory.
Buckeye Central was led by Isabelle Biglin’s 18 points, Haily Green scored 12 points, and Hailey Hildebrand added 10 points.
The visiting Galion Lady Tigers came up short in their effort against hosts Fairbanks Lady Panthers 45 to 41.
Taylor Valentine led the Lady Tiger’s efforts with 12 points and Morgan Gwinner added 10 points
Kacey Burns and Corinne Windisch led Fairbanks scorers with 11 points each.
