Zorina M. Swinehart, age 63, of Forest, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Zorina was born on December 7, 1960, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Wayne and Cecelia (Fink) Moses, both of whom are deceased. She married Neil Swinehart on July 20,1987 he survives.
She is also survived by her 2 daughters, Courtney (LaTaunce) Bristel of Kenton, and Mariele Swinehart of Forest. 2 grandchildren, Laci Freshour and Cameron Jakopovic, and a great greatgrandson, Braxton Collins, along with her brother, Donald Moses, of Upper Sandusky, and an aunt, Sharon Fink, of Upper Sandusky.
Zorina was a 1979 graduate of Riverdale High School and for hobbies she enjoyed listening to music, especially the Goo Goo Dolls, of whom she was a big fan and enjoyed seeing them live. She enjoyed her classic cars and knew them by heart. She was a 4-H advisor, and was very active locally in the Democratic Party.
She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, enjoying conversation with old friends, and not being shy to make new, having never met a stranger. Most of all she will be remembered for her love of her children, grandchildren, and others that she treated as if they were her own. She will be greatly missed.
Services for Zorina M. Swinehart will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 22, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home of Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at Jackson Center Cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home.
