Zahra Begum Sherazee, age 83, formerly of Upper Sandusky, more recently of Columbus, died at her residence on July 19, 2021. She was born in Kalaw, Myanmar on Oct. 10, 1937, to the late Syed Hussain Najafee and Amajan Abul Ali. She married Mohamad Hassan Sherazee, he preceded her in death on Apr. 6, 1974. Surviving are sons Mazhar Sherazee, Zahir Sherazee, Jaleel Sherazee, and a daughter-in-law Bouchra Sherazee, grandchildren Faraz, Iman, Ny’il, Sara, Michael and Daniel, brothers Mustapha Najafee, Mahmood Najafee, Abess Najafee, a sister Rukia Najafee and many nieces and nephews throughout the United States. She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Najafee and sisters Fatima Najafee and Soghra Ahmed.

Mrs. Sherazee was the owner/operator of the former Zahra Oriental Cooking in Upper Sandusky.  She enjoyed cooking, especially for others.  She was a member of Islamic Center of Greater Toledo where her services were held, interment was in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo.  Bringman Clark Funeral Home was honored to serve the Sherazee family.
