Wilma M. Oberlander, 92 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Wilma was born March 27, 1929, in Bucyrus to the late Howard and Lavina (Klahn) Coulter.  She was married December 25, 1952, to Lloyd Oberlander who preceded her in death on August 8, 1989.  She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Shirley; infant sister Virginia; brothers Harold and James as well as sister in laws Lucile and Dorothy.

Wilma is survived by son Thomas (Carol) Oberlander and daughter Sharon Oberlander both of Bucyrus; grandchildren Thomas Jr., Jeremiah, and Jolene; and great-grandchildren Britton, Airanna, Hunter, Rylee, Rogelyn, and Oliver.

Wilma lived her entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1947.  She was a member of the Bucyrus Nazarene Church and was a former Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years.  Wilma also served as Missionary Treasurer, a church steward, and helped with the tape ministry.  Wilma volunteered for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile for over 20 years and volunteered at both Fairview Manor and Heartland.

Wilma loved spending time with her friends as well as her children and grandchildren playing games and making memories.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Bucyrus Nazarene Church with Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to the Church, American Red Cross or Gideon’s and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
