Wilma Faye Palmer 83 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Heartland of Bucyrus.  Wilma was born August 16, 1938, in Wyandot County to the late Charlie Franklin Ward and Effie Leona (Stansbery) Ward.  She was formerly married to Paul Carroll Jaynes in 1956 and he survives in Florida.  In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Palmer, who she married in 1970; sister Dorothy Joan Bloomfield; infant sister Betty Elaine; and infant brother Donald Eugene.

Wilma is survived by children Bill (Brenda) Jaynes of Findlay and Sheila Jaynes of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchildren Victoria, Samantha, Cynthia, Jennifer, and Christina; step-grandchild Ian; great-grandchildren Leo, Royce, Regan, Madeline, Henry, Lauren, and Danielle; as well as one sister Marian Shinabarger of Riverdale, MI.

Wilma was a graduate of Lexington H.S. in 1956 and was active in the Ladies of the Moose, being a past Regent, was a former member of the Eagles Aux., and was a Grey Lady at Bucyrus Community Hospital for 15 years.  In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Wilma worked at the L & K in Bucyrus.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
