William Joseph Lewis Jr., 56, of Galion, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 after a short illness.
William was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on June 12, 1962 to William Joseph Lewis Sr. who survives in Hopelawn, New Jersey and to the late Sarah (Mitchell) Lewis.
William was a graduate of the Woodbridge High School in New Jersey. He was an avid lover of fishing and would be at his favorite fishing hole every chance he had. William loved cooking and loved preparing flavorful food from his vegetable garden that he took such great pride in.
In addition to his father William Sr. he is survived by his brother, Wade and Mary Lewis of Galion; sister, Linda Gardner of Hollywood, Florida; brother, Brian Lewis of Edison, New Jersey; and fiancé, Sharon Weir of Galion.
