Warren Elwood Stover, 68, of Crestline, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 5, 2020 at his son’s home in Mansfield.

Warren was born in Shelby, OH on April 29, 1952 to the late George J. and Martha L. (Walter) Stover. He married Cheryl L. (Williams) on October 1, 1983, and she preceded him in death on June 4, 2020.

Warren graduated from Crestline High School, Class of 1970. He was a member of the Calvary United Church of Christ, Crestline. He owned, operated and retired from his independent truck driving company. Warren was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed complaining about the Browns every fall. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to the casinos. Warren enjoyed spending time with his family. He was always sure to say goodbye to his grandchildren with their own secret fist-bumps.

Warren is survived by his three sons, Cory (Annalee) Stover, Mansfield; T.J. (Taryn) Stover, Johnstown; Ryan Stover, Crestline; his grandchildren Corbyn, Luna, Kensley, Bennett, Sylvia, and Graham; sister Melba (Scott) Hamilton, Shelby; sister-in-law, Denise (Roy) Young, Bucyrus; uncle Don Walter, Crestline; brother-in-law Keith (Donna) Williams, Montpelier, IN; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Warren especially grew close to Ella, his and Cheryl’s dog, after Cheryl’s passing.

Per Warren’s request, a graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 13, 2020 in Greenlawn Cemetery with his brother-in-law, Pastor Keith Williams, officiating.
