Virginia Marie Sampson age 77 of Forest, died Oct. 30, 2022 at the Hardin Hills Nursing Home, Kenton. She was born Mar. 5, 1945 in Kenton to the late Herman F. and Edna M.(Hamilton) McMahon.
Surviving are her children Christina Sampson, Forest, Rebecca Parsell, Kenton and Kent (Susan) Sampson, Carey, sister Mary Lou Rainsburg and a step-sister Marjorie (Tom) Fix. She is preceded in death by a son Kevin Lee Sampson, a sister Donna Mae McBrayer and a step-brother John Lamb.
Mrs. Sampson was a cashier at Meijer. She enjoyed craft shows and flea markets, and was an avid reader.
Funeral services will be held Nov. 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Pummell officiating. Interment will be in Hueston Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00AM -11:00AM before the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Forest Jackson Public Library in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45843.
