Tim W. McDaniel, Sr. 57, of Galion, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born September 13, 1964 in Crestline, Ohio, he was the son of Albert Surber, Jr. and Ruth (Nance) Surber. He married Rosemary Kay (Mountz) McDaniel on February 27, 1997 and she preceded him on April 30, 2021.
Tim was an electrician for Kokosing for 18 years. He never met a stranger, enjoyed hunting, camping and riding “Pearl” his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by six children, Tim, Jr. (Denise) McDaniel, Steven (Ashleigh) McDaniel, Brian (Amanda) McDaniel, Samantha McDaniel, Justin McDaniel and Nick McDaniel; 19 grandchildren; sister, Sally Punches; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Robin and Robert Zier; nieces, Megan Rose Zier, Chrissy Hinkle and Susan McDaniel and his mother-in-law, Eileen Mountz.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by an adopted mother, Jessie McDaniel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
