Thomas M. ”Tom” Weaver, 35, of Bucyrus, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at his parent’s home in Mansfield after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tom was born in Galion on November 12, 1981 to Charles and Barbara (Brickner) Weaver and they survive.

Tom was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Shelby.  He was employed at Shelby Tube, in production, and also worked at General Electric, Federal Express, and Timken. Tom proudly served with the Iberia Volunteer Fire Fighter.  Tom graduated from Galion High School where he played the tuba in the band. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed camping and vacationing with his family. Tom also loved spending time with friends and riding motorcycles.  Tom and his special uncle, Brian would work on cars and special projects together.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister, Carissa and Tim Biglin, Crestline; his brothers, Keith Weaver, Galion, and Jacob Weaver, Shelby; maternal grandfather, Raphael Bricker, Findlay; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Brickner, paternal grandparents, Francis and Bertha Weaver; and uncle, Brian Brickner.

Friends may call on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church, 5754 State Route 61 S, Bethlehem, Ohio.  A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on September 22, 2017 with Father Chris Bohnsack, Celebrant.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or Iberia Fire Department in care of the funeral home.
