Thomas P. Steinmetz, 75, of Bucyrus died Monday, June 19, 2023, at his residence under the care of Avita Hospice. He was born May 22, 1948, in Tiffin to the late John and Donna (McGowan) Steinmetz. He graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School and worked at The Timken Company for many years.
Thomas is survived by his four children, Amy (David) Abdeen, Cory (Stephanie) Steinmetz, Patrick (Alece) Steinmetz, and Andrea (Jason) Hoopes; longtime girlfriend, Lori Songer; siblings, Janet (Ken) Stahl, Lynn (Don) Warwick, and Dan (Jenny) Steinmetz; sisters-in-law, Gail Steinmetz and Julie Steinmetz; and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe, Phil, and Dennis Steinmetz.
