Thomas E. Noerr, 57, of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born June 23, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Thomas Wayne Noerr and Caroline Covert Fulbrook. He married former Galion resident Marsha (Bonen) Noerr and she survives.

Thomas was the General Manager and Chef at The Looking Glass Restaurant. He retired as Sergeant First Class in the United States Army at Fort Campbell after serving 21 years, including a tour in Desert Storm. Thomas enjoyed cooking, bowling and traveling. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by three brothers, Steve (Dee) Riesemas of Indiana, Jeff (Michele) Riesemas of Indiana and Rodney (Robin) Riesemas of Texas; sister Patty Jackson of West Virginia and two nephews, Jeff Jackson of West Virginia and Christopher (Erica) Jackson of West Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19 with Mart Bonen officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Full military honors will be conducted by the United States and Galion Crestline Veterans Military Funeral Detail.
