Thelma Foust, 95, of Galion passed away Monday, August 23, 2021, at Signature HealthCARE of Galion.
She was born November 1, 1925, in Galion and was the daughter of Charles and Emma (Senn) Lamb. On November 30, 1945, she married Herman L. “Les” Foust and he preceded her in death after 51 years of marriage on December 29, 1996.
Thelma graduated from Galion High School in 1943 and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and going to the beach.
Thelma is survived by son William (Debra) Foust of Galion; daughters, Janet (Paul) Keller and Nancy (Barry) Hardy all of Galion; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Paul, Donald, Homer, Charles “Bus”, Dale and Kenneth Lamb, and three sisters, Rose Klingelhafer, Ruthie Lamb, and Dorothy Windbigler.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in Fairview Cemetery, 1295 Fairview Avenue Galion, Ohio 44833 with Rev. Richard Genzman officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
