Teresa Marie Dagher, 40, of Bucyrus, died Saturday, October 21, 2017.
She was born February 8, 1977 in Bucyrus to Sleiman and Nawal Dagher who both survive. Teresa was a 1994 graduate of Bucyrus High School where she was active in volleyball, cheerleading and track. She attended college at OSU, Columbus State and most recently at North Central State College.
Teresa enjoyed being around her family, especially her boys. Whether cheering for them at their athletic events or playing with her youngest at home, they made her smile and she was proud of them. She volunteered time to help others through coaching youth volleyball, primarily at Holy Trinity School and enjoyed being a caretaker to friends and family in need of assistance. Teresa welcomed friends and family into her life with unconditional love and fierce loyalty.
Teresa was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was an authentic individual who liked spending time with friends, listening to music, and dancing. She found peace in writing poetry, letters to family as well as journaled regularly.
In addition to her parents, Teresa is survived by three sons, D.J., Edward “Eddie” and Anthony Dagher; one granddaughter, Aubrey; two siblings, Michelle (Brian) Rapp and Joseph (Emily) Dagher; a niece and nephew, Eleanor and Samuel as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Thursday, October 26 at Wise Funeral Service where the evening will conclude with a Rosary Service beginning at 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Fahrbach as Celebrant. All family and friends are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made payable to Maryhaven and will be accepted through the funeral home or at the church the morning of her funeral. Expressions of sympathy are encouraged to be shared by visiting her tribute page at www.wisefuneral.com.
