T. Bruce Workman, 73, of Bucyrus passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at home.

Born October 25, 1947, in Louisa, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Truman and MaryAnn (Shrader) Workman. He married Paula L. (Hedrick) Workman on September 15, 1973, and they have enjoyed 47 years together.

He was a graduate of Lexington High School in 1965 and received his Divinity degree from Clear Creek Baptist College. Bruce has been the pastor at the Life Way Fellowship Church in Bucyrus since 1990.

He loved street rods, especially his 1928 Chevy with a 500 cubic inch supercharged Cadillac engine. In Bruce’s early years he enjoyed traveling, especially on his Honda Goldwing out west with his friend Lee Walker. He was a pilot and enjoyed his Taylorcraft, and liked to be in the outdoors and hunt. In typical fashion, he enjoyed getting his grandkids, Cali and Crew, power wheels and liked to watch them drive around.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Caleb Workman of Bucyrus, Cana “Pete” Workman of Delaware and Candace “Tank” (Matt) of Bucyrus; grandchildren Cali W. and Crew Kalb; brother Stephen Workman of Bellville; numerous nieces and nephews including niece Shanna (Chris) Perreault of Bellville and nephew Shane Workman of Bellville and longtime friends Lee Walker, Ken Shea, and Dennis McMillen.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021, at Life Way Fellowship Church, 1433 Whetstone St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Life Way Fellowship Church, with Caleb Workman officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
