Steven Matthews Van Buren, 45, of Nevada passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
He was born October 5, 1972 in Galion and was the son of Marvin L. and Linda M. (Stuttler) Van Buren, Sr. of North Robinson.
Steven attended New Day Ministries in Bucyrus. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, was an avid sports fan, especially Cleveland Browns and loved his mother’s cooking.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Torrey (Jessica) Brown of Bucyrus and Travis Powell of Indiana; siblings Eva (Michael) Cole of Bucyrus, Melissa (Robert) Stone of Nevada, Marvin (LeAnn) Van Buren, Jr. of Bucyrus, Rebecca (Gary) Sprague of Shelby, Timothy (Oksana) Van Buren of Nevada, Stephanie (Chris) Gehrisch of Ontario and Sandra Austin of Cincinnati; many beloved nieces and nephews, especially his niece Kristina Stone and many aunts and uncles.
Steven is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Frieda (Hershner) Van Buren; his maternal grandparents, Murriel and Eileen Riddlebaugh; his sister, Bobbie Jo Van Buren and his niece, Krystal Van Buren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at New Day Ministries, 301 East Warren Street Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 with Bishop Ted Thomas and his mother Linda Van Buren officiating.
