Steven Siclair, age 74, of Galion passed away Saturday June 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

After graduation from Galion High School, Steve enlisted in the Air National Guard at Lahm Airport in Mansfield where he served six years. He often enjoyed reminiscing on his time there. He proudly served his country.

Steve had a huge impact on Galion and surrounding areas as the owner/operator of Galion Canvas Products where he began working side by side with his father from the age of 12. His work ethic was taught to many area youth that spent a summer swinging sledge hammers alongside him.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, camping, gardening and riding his Harley. He provided for his family so they could experience the same.

Survived by his caring and loving wife Nancy Siclair, his daughter Dr. Samantha (Mike) Abraham, granddaughters; Sophia and Amelia Abraham, daughter Natalie Siclair, his sisters, Tammy (John) Erlsten, Mary (Steve) Willis, Sherry (Susan) Siclair, Diane Bryant and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Preceding him in death are his father and mother Sam and Kathleen Siclair, father-in-law and mother-in-law Louis and Anna Krawiec, and nephew Brandon Willis. We are grateful for the support of our family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Scarborough Post 243, Galion on August 17, 2024 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 243, 118 S. Market Street, Galion, OH 44833 and/or the Pink Ladies of the Galion Owls, 239 Harding Way East, Galion.
