Stephen G. Cramer, 74 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Heartland of Bucyrus. Steve was born November 26, 1946, in Perrysville, OH to the late Willis B. and Miriam L. (Hartshorne) Cramer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Terry (Kiesel) Cramer; son Stephen G. Cramer II, and stepdaughter Heather Zamora.
Stephen is survived by sister Cherie (Alan) Young of Bucyrus; nieces and nephew Alana (Tom) Lemmen, Hope Wittig, and Noah (Jessica) Young; stepchildren Brian (Kathy) Nye, Robert “Bob” (Laura) Nye, Tracy Nye, and Erin (Terry) Griffin; as well as numerous step-grandchildren and his dog “Sage”.
Steve graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1965 and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Several years ago, Steve worked at Omler’s Meat Market and retired from the Timken Company. He was a member of the VFW Post #1078. Steve was artistic and enjoyed working around the house with lawn care and the pond (he drove only Ford lawnmowers).
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with his nephews and family conducting the service, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the Gifts for Yanks or the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
