Sarah L. Jackman age 85, of Upper Sandusky died at her residence on Apr. 11, 2022. She was born Dec. 21, 1936 in Alliance to the late Steve and Margaret (Duruttya) Korosy. On Nov. 27, 1958 she married Merle M. Jackman, he preceded her in death on July 6, 2013. Surviving are her children Jim (Lorraine) Jackman, FL, Jody Bowden, Richmond, Diane Jackman, Upper Sandusky, Rodney Jackman, WV, John Jackman, OH, grandchildren Chasity, David, Elijah, Andrew, Joshua, Jeremy, Zachary, Emma , Brooke, great grandchildren Lily, Abigail, Conor, Grace, Shaun, Issac and Aurora, a sister Rosine Trieff, IN. She preceded in death by a brother Steve Korosy and a sister Margie Korosy.
She was an alumni of Alliance High School and Aultman Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse, owner of Tasty Pastry Shoppe, Upper Sandusky and Be Happy Home Nursing Service. Mrs. Jackman enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano, she had a doll collection which included Hummel Dolls and collected photos of her family.
Private graveside services were held at Old Mission Cemetery with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating.
