Ruth Ann Drumm, 80, of Galion passed away April 29, 2018 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus after a short courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 9, 1937 in Caledonia, she was the daughter of Charles Humphrey and Laura (Lehman) Humphrey-Fox.
She worked for 42 years at the former North Electric, ITT and PECO II in Galion where she was a final wireman on transformers, retiring in 2002. She previously attended Grace Point Church in Galion, was a member of AMVETS Auxiliary Polk Township 1979 in Galion, where she has served as President for many years and also member of the Galion Women of the Moose, Chapter 177. She loved babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren, collecting angels and loved flowers of all kinds, especially daisies.
She is survived by three children, Roderick Drumm, David (Kristi) Drumm and Debra (Mike) McClintock all of Galion; grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica Hay) McClintock, Kyle McClintock, Tyler (Laura Schroeder) McClintock, Sara Drumm and Emilie Drumm; great grandchildren, Braden, Riley and Kyler McClintock; brothers, Charles Humphrey, William Fox and Jerry Fox.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step- father William Fox, daughter Tamara Drumm and brother, Dick Fox.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 3, 2018 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery.
