Ruby E. Zieg, 93, of Galion passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion.
Born November 2, 1924 in Galion, she was the daughter of Hilman and Flora (Stower) Ramsey. She married Carnell A. “Bud” Zieg on April 25, 1947 and he preceded her on May 3, 1990.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1942 and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion. Ruby worked as a real estate agent for Fred Barr Realty in Galion. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing bridge.
She is survived by children Stephen A. (Sheila) Zieg of Galion, Randy A. (Jan) Zieg of Idaho and Karla S. (Mike) Cline of Phoenix, Arizona; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brother Casto Ramsey.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Galion with Rev. Ash Welch officiating.
