Ruby D. Southward age 87 of Forest, died June 14, 2022 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Sept. 15, 1934 in Allen Co. to the late Raymond J. and Ruby L. (Bracy) Watkins. She married Harold A. Maag, then was married to Dale E. Benner on Apr. 26, 1974, he preceded her in death on Oct. 7, 1986, she married Michael K. Southward on Sept. 6, 1991, he survives in Forest. Surviving are sons Stephen Maag, Forest, Jeffery (Marlene) Maag, Clyde, a daughter Melanie Wonder, Bascom, step-daughter Cyndi Southward, Bucyrus, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 1 step grandchild, a sister Cynthia Anderson, Columbus Grove, a step-sister Ruth Gibbs-Throne, WA, brothers Jerry Watkins, Columbus Grove, Steve Watkins, KY. She is preceded in death by a son Tony Maag.
Mrs. Southward worked in quality control at the former Budd Co., Carey retiring after 22 years.
A private graveside service will be held at Jackson Center Cemetery. Visitation will be on Fri. June 17, 2022 from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Bringman Clark Funeral Home.
