Ross Kendall, 92, of Galion went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 5, 2021 surrounded by his family at home.
He was born February 21, 1929 in Idamae, West Virginia and was the son of Earl and Janet (Tobin) Kendall. Ross is survived by his wife of 73 years, Eva Mae (Everett) Kendall whom he married on July 3, 1948.
He worked at General Motors in Ontario and retired after 32 years. Ross attended Galion First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed woodworking, tennis and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jeanette Kendall of Mansfield, Paulette (Ronnie) Jones of Galion and Marilyn (Craig) Miley of Galion; son, Timothy (Shirley) Kendall of Galion; daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Kendall of Galion; six grandchildren, Sabrina (James) Godwin, Jennifer (Elizabeth) Justice, Nicole (Keith) Miley, Chad (Ceileata) Kendall, Ashley (Dustin) Bryant and Clayton (Alexis) Kendall and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; son, Ronald Ross Kendall and four brothers, Gerald, William, Jimmy and Tom Kendall.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Galion First Church of the Nazarene, 777 Fairview Avenue, Galion, Ohio 44833 where a celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 10 with Pastor Hunter Hickman officiating.
