Rosemary Birch, 81, of rural Galion passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Born October 12, 1942 in Ford City, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Evelyn B. (Kunselman) Dinus. She married Paul E. Birch on December 16, 1961 and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2007.
She was a graduate of Ford City High School and the North Central Technical College. Rosemary worked as a registered nurse for 32 years retiring from the Galion Hospital. She enjoyed gambling, reading and working in the yard.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Kragh and Jennifer (Robert) Johnson, all of Galion; two sons, Jeff (Toni) Birch of Ashland and Joe (Liz) Birch of Franklin Park, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Jessica Perkins, Matt Kragh, Malori (Joe) Cefoli, Jordan (Brian) DeVilbiss, Holly (Tyler) Luers, Hunter (Taylor) Birch, Nathan (Kera) Johnson and Abigail Birch and Jack Birch; 14 great-grandchildren, Natalee Perkins, Tyler Perkins, Timber Papst, Dylan DeVilbiss, Gavin DeVilbiss, Tucker Luers, Eliana Cefoli, Barrett Luers, Reagan Luers, Britton Luers, Parker Birch, Sawyer Birch, Emberly Birch and Sofia Johnson and a great great-grandchild, Kason Perkins.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Kowalczyk.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833.
