Ronald L. Bache, Sr., 77, of Galion passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.

 

Born July 16, 1944 in Dennison, Ohio, he was the son of Royce and Louise (Meredith) Bache.

 

Ronald worked for over 30 years as a machinist at the former Galion Dresser. He was a life-member of the VFW Post 4329 of Galion, Loyal Order of Moose 303 of Galion and the Crawford County Coonhunters. Ronald enjoyed archery, fishing, hunting, working on cars, model trains and the outdoors.

 

He is survived by four sons, Jeff (Jenifer) Bache of Mansfield, Gary Bache of Galveston, Texas, Dave (Soonhwa) Hatfield of Galion and Ken (fiancée LeaAnn) Hatfield of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Derek, Devon, Amelia Danay, Leandra Carolynn-Louise, Jeff, Jr. and Kyle; five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Selah, Titus, Gabriella and Gavin and two brothers, Terry (Ginny) Bache and Mickey (Melody) Bache.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. Bache, Jr.; wife, Vera Clifton and his dog, Precious.

 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
