Roger W. Bowman Sr., 55 of Bucyrus and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Bucyrus Community Hospital following a brief illness. Roger was born May 10, 1966, in Baltimore to the late Linden Herbert Bowman Sr. and June (Scott) Bowman. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Sherry Pfaff and Michelle Bowman.
Roger is survived by children Roger Jr., Jacob, Dylan, Faith, and Hope Bowman all of Bucyrus; grandchild Haidyn Bowman; brothers Linden Jr., Donald, and Frank Bowman; sisters Tammy and Tina Bowman as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger last worked at IB Tech in Bucyrus and for many years did construction work with asphalt and concrete. He moved to Bucyrus in 2005 from Baltimore and was an avid fisherman, loved rock and roll music, and the Ravens and Orioles. Roger’s favorite T.V. shows were Sanford and Son and Dog the Bounty Hunter.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
