Rita M. Szczupak, 91, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Mill Creek Nursing and Rehab, Galion.
Rita was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 11, 1926 to the late Lucien and Marcella (Grabowska) Minc. She married Raymond S. Szczupak on September 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2011.
Rita was of the Catholic Faith. She was a happy and fun-loving lady and loved making people laugh. Rita loved to listen to big band music and dancing to the polka. In her free time, she loved to sit and read mysteries and love stories.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Sandra (John) Goering of Parma, Deborah (Chuck) Miller of Columbia Station, Brenda (Craig) Clinger of Galion; granddaughter, Shannon (Joseph) Brown; grandsons, Adam Clinger, Andrew (Heaven) Clinger; 7 great-grand-children; and her caregiver and neighbor, Larry Moehring.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Minc.
Internment will be at a later date in the All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
