Reable Post, 71, a long-time resident of Galion passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Madison Health Hospital in London, Ohio. She had been a resident at the London Health & Rehab for the past four years.
She was born March 16, 1949, in Welch, West Virginia and was the daughter of Herman and Meva (Shannon) Asbury.
Reable graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1968 and was a homemaker. She attended First Lutheran Church in Galion. Reable enjoyed baking, helping those in need, and will be remembered for her plates of Christmas cookies that she made for people.
Reable is survived by a son, Stephen (Laura) Post of Charles City, Iowa; brothers Tarvin and Lloyd Asbury both of Columbus; sisters Edith Thomas of South Charleston, Ohio and Bessie Morrison of Columbus; father of her son, Stephen Eugene Post of Galion and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Asbury
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
