Recently our family lost someone very special to us all: a son, brother, cousin, husband, and daddy. Randall F. Saum, 29, of Crestline, died Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.

Randall was born in Mansfield on July 10, 1988 to the Mark R. and Eva M. (Crawford) Saum.  He married Andrea R. Mays on June 18, 2010 and she survives him.

Randall graduated in 2006 from Crestline High School and worked at Mansfield Manufacturing. He loved his wife and children. They were his whole world. He enjoyed writing poems, raps and songs.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his five children, Kaylee Saum, Christopher Saum, Randall Saum, Jr., Adrianna Saum, and Carson Saum; his brothers, Brandon (Kristan Bailey) Saum and Levi Saum, both of Crestline; his sister, Stephanie Smith of Boaz, AL; his paternal grandmother, Martha Knapp; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Dean of Mansfield; his nephews, Gabriel and Jayce Saum, Kaden and Ashton Smith; step nephew, Zayne Bailey; mother-in-law, Anna Frazee of Ontario; and brother-in-law, AJ Hudgens of Ontario.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Barney F. Saum, and his maternal grandfather, Paul Lowe.

Friends may call Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline.  A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
