Ralph C. Sebrell, 75, of Galion passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Ohio State James Cancer Center after a brief illness.
He was born February 13, 1947 in Salem, Ohio to Harold and Ella (Rudebock) Sebrell and was raised on a farm.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United State Air Force during the Vietnam War. Most of his work life was in the tire industry, wiring control cabinets for tire presses. He retired from McNeil NRM in Akron. Ralph was a member of Friends of Corvair Car Club.
The love of Jesus won his heart as a young man and was an anchor and strength throughout his life.
Ralph is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Margie (Badertscher) Sebrell; three sons, Dan Sebrell of Palestine, Ohio, Steve Sebrell of Charlotte, North Carolina and Shawn Sebrell of Germany; daughter Deborah Sebrell of Charlotte, Ohio; two grandchildren, Piper and Darian Sebrell and a brother, John Sebrell of Akron.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Sebrell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a memorial service will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. with Carlton Schooley officiating. The Memorial Service will be live streamed through the Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel Facebook Page.
Military honors will conducted by the United States Air Force.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
