Paula J. Haala Ryan, 73 of Galion passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at home. Paula was born February 22, 1948, in Bucyrus to the late Robert C. and Betty J. (Campbell) Haala. She was married August 9, 1992, to James R. Ryan Jr. who preceded her in death on July 20, 2021. She was also preceded in death by sister Brenda Strong.
Paula is survived by daughter Lynn; stepson Jeremy; step-grandchildren Damon, Ethan, and Gracie; and special friends Terynda Adams and Christy Foti.
Paula graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1966 and was a member of the Army Navy Club, Trackside, and the American Legion in Galion. She worked l as a pet sitter in people’s homes.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brokensword Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
