Patricia “Pat” Ann Murray, age 85, of Nevada, Ohio, entered the Church Triumphant at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center.
Pat was born on June 18, 1938, in Santa Barbara, CA, to Robert L. and Eleanor L. (Monska) Davidson. She was married to Mark E. Murray on June 15, 1991, at Martin Luther Church and he survives near Nevada.
Pat is also survived by her children: Steven (Candice) Wilson of New Holstein, Wisconsin, Kathy (Matt) Seay of Payette, Idaho, and Mark (Yvette) Wilson of North Las Vegas, Nevada, 8 grandchildren: Rachel, Jessica, Stephanie, Johnathan, James, Kristin, Desiree and Mark, and many great grandchildren. Pat is also survived by her sister Mary Louise Sandmann of Estes Park, Colorado.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
Pat graduated from Olentangy High School in 1956. During High School and for several years after, Pat worked for Dietsch’s Dairy Stand and then Sunray Stoves, both in Delaware. Later, Pat worked at Therma-Disc in Mansfield for 10 years, and she finished her working career at Swan Hose in Bucyrus as a purchasing agent and retired in December of 1998 after 30 years.
Pat was a member of the Martin Luther Church, where she was a member of Ever Faithful Circle and volunteered to help in the kitchen for luncheons, as well as volunteering for Voice of Hope Ministries in Upper Sandusky. Pat enjoyed square dancing with her husband Mark, and they were members of the Wyandot Squares and then Hicks and Chicks. Pat also enjoyed traveling to visit her family, going on motorcycle rides in the countryside, going to garage and yard sales, mowing the lawn, daily trips to Carolyn’s Kitchen, doing word jumbles, going on extracurricular bus trips with Mark, sitting in on United in Harmony rehearsals, and evening shifts for Contact Crawford County.
A funeral service for Pat Murray will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and will be officiated by Pastor Tim Nilsen. Burial will follow at Martin Luther Cemetery.
Visitations will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
