Patricia A. “Pat” Parks, 66, of Galion passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Signature HealthCARE in Galion.

She was born April 10, 1951 in Crawford County and was the daughter of Charles William and Elsie Leona (Case) Nelson. On August 3, 1968 she married James E. Parks and they enjoyed nearly 43 years of marriage until his passing on May 5, 2011.

Pat worked for Galion Community Hospital for 48 years in numerous positions. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, tending to her flowers in the garden and trips to Amish country with friends.

Pat is survived by son James E. “Jimmy” (Libby) Parks Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter Tammy Randolph of Galion; three grandchildren Elysa Parks, Sydney Meek and Morgan Randolph; sister Bonnie (James) Spurck of Galion and her faithful dog and companion, Toby.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Jerry and William.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 24 with Rev. Loyd Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
