Naomi Ruth “Jippy” Rayborn passed away on February 4th 2024. Naomi was Born November 7th 1939In Lewis County Kentucky to the late Ora Lewis and Ada Sparks. She was married December 8th 1955to Edgar Rayborn who survives. Naomi was a homemaker who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She loved singing Gospel Music And growing beautiful flowers and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Naomi was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Naomi is survived by her Husband of 68 Years Edgar Rayborn, 5 Children, Larry (Beth), Michael, Rita(Mel) Edwards, Rick (Teresa), Troy (Carolyn); 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild. Sisters Helen, Betty, Linda, Shirley, Sandy, and Romona; Brother in law Charlie Butler,and several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Morton Sparks, sisters Audrey, Louise, Peggy, Alberta, and Irene; Brothers Russell and Johnny and Granddaughter Carrie Sue Stander.
A private Funeral service will be held on Wednesday in the Munz Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev Rodney Noblet Officiating, and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the donor’s choice and expressions of Sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
