Nancy L. Stilwell, 81 of rural Sycamore passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021, in Speedwell, VA at the home of her daughter Darlene. Nancy was born March 17, 1939, in Tazewell County Virginia to the late Arch and Virgie (Davis) Ball. She was married October 20, 1955, to Don Stilwell who preceded her in death on October 15, 2004. She was also preceded in death by siblings Billy Ball, Carl Ball, Pansy Baldwin, Jack Ball, and Dorothy Newberry.
Nancy is survived by children Darlene (Dwight) Newberry of Speedwell, VA, Elmer (Tammie) Stilwell of Bucyrus, Melissa Wiggelsworth of Live Oak, FL, Donna (Barry) Muzzelman of Cedar Bluff, VA, Rick Stilwell of Bucyrus, Jim (Lynn) Stilwell of Sycamore, OH, and Mike (Tammy) Stilwell of Bucyrus; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brothers Bob Ball, Otis (Truly) Ball, Bertie Dye, Betty (Donald) Shelton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy worked at Millington Plastics in Upper Sandusky for 25 years following which she was a caregiver for the elderly. She moved to this area in 1967 from Virginia. Nancy attended the Oceola Pentecostal Church and enjoyed flowers, gardening and canning, and taking care of her home.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Angel officiating with burial to follow in Oceola Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
