Nancy Davis, 83, passed away September 6, 2024 at Avita Galion Hospital. She was born February 18, 1941 in Leesville, OH.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, taking care of her yard, caring for her plants, and loved her animals. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
She worked as an Assembler for PECO and Abbot in Iberia.
Nancy rejoins her husband, Jack J. Davis; father, Wayne R. Eckert; mother, Evelyn (Worman) Shumaker and step father, Eugene R. Shumaker; and sister-in-law, Shirley Eckert.
She leaves behind her son: Buddy Rupe; daughters: Cindy Shipman, husband Jeff, and Jenny Reagan, husband Jerry; grandchildren: Wade Shipman, wife Ashley, Spencer Shipman, wife Andrea, Paige Reagan, Zoee Reagan, Jevan Rupe, wife Katie and Brenna Rupe; great grandchildren: Kali Kurkowski, Marissa Shipman, Jillian Shipman, Zane Rupe, and Naomi Rupe; brothers: Larry Eckert, and Eddie Eckert.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2024 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2024 with Pastor Jeff Pennington officiating. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
