Nancy C. Miller, age 89, of Galion passed away Wednesday December 11, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born December 3, 1935 in Dayton, she was the daughter of Ellsworth and Mabel (Sluterbeck) Collins. She married Carl Miller on February 28, 1954 and he preceded her in death.
Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family. She co-owned the Family Tire Center in Galion for over 30 years. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and the PTA as part of her devotion to her children.
She is survived by her six children: Carol (Glenn) Tackett, Mitzi (Michael) Heiser, David (Jill) Miller, Kirby (Vicki) Miller, Ric (Sue) Miller and Linda (Jeff) Spencer, 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and her sister Reni (Jack) Mescher.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Celia Yenser and Karen Long, grandson Matthew Heiser and great granddaughter Skylar Tackett.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Tuesday December 17, 2024 at Gracepoint Church, 683 Portland Way North, Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Paul Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
