Michelle “Shelly” Lee Daniel, 54, peacefully departed on her birthday, October 28, 2024, at Grant Trauma Center. Shelly was born on October 28, 1970, in Galion, to the late parents Richard and Viola (Hayslip) Daniels.
Shelly touched the lives of those around her with her warm and kind spirit, known for her infectious laughter and endless compassion. Shelly found solace and joy in attending Gospel Baptist Church in Galion, where she played the organ, sharing her music with all who listened.
Professionally, Shelly dedicated over two decades of her life to Waycraft, leaving an indelible mark on her colleagues with her dedication and work ethic. Outside of work, she found joy in her passions, from supporting sports teams like the Browns, Bengals, Indians, and Galion Tigers, to indulging in friendly games of tennis and bowling.
Those who knew Shelly best will fondly remember her love for WWE superstars John Cena and Triple H, often playfully waving her hand in front of her face with a spirited “You can’t see me.” Her enthusiastic spirit and love for life will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
Left to cherish Shelly’s memories are her brother, Ronnie and Ellen Daniels, special friend, Jackie, best of cousins, Jestina, all her wonderful friends at the group home in Galion, and beautiful care takers from Altercare in Bucyrus.
Along with her parents, Shelly was preceded in death by: sister, Patty Daniel.
Friends may call from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N, Galion. Burial will take place at East Liberty Cemetery, Lynx, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gospel Baptist Church, in Galion or the American Cancer Society.
