Michelle Rose Smith, 56 of Fairfax, VA passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at her home in Fairfax, her death was unexpected. Michelle was born February 25, 1965, in Washington D.C. to the late Patrick B. Smith and Marilyn (Hieber) Smith who resides in Bucyrus. In addition to her mother, she is survived by brother Robin Patrick Smith of Monroe, MI.
Michelle worked for the Fairfax County Government for several years and most recently worked for the Washington Post.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 21 at 11:00 am in the Good Hope Lutheran Church with burial to follow at a later date in Brokensword Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Church Organ Fund. The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
