Michele E. Powers, 67 of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Michele was born February 15, 1954, in Bucyrus to the late Evert “Wayne” Clark and Carol Jean (Miller) Clark. She was married May 5, 1989, to Robin Powers who preceded her in death in 2007. She was also preceded in death by brother Derrick D. Clark Sr. and nephew Chad Zier.
Michele is survived by children Chris Rapp of Bucyrus, Terry Rapp of Bucyrus, and Lyle Rapp of Arizona; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; nephew Derrick D. Clark Jr. of Bucyrus as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the Powers family.
Michele graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1973 and has been a lifelong Bucyrus resident. She last worked at American Wire in Marion and enjoyed collecting owls and spending time with her family.
Following Michele’s wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life Gathering on Tuesday from 4:00-6:0 pm at the New Day Ministries, 301 E. Warren St., Bucyrus. Memorial contributions may be made through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.
