Michael Charles Kaple, age 59, of New Washington, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021. He was born on September 6, 1961, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Donald C. and Dorothy (Ross) Kaple. Michael had worked at the Kaple Lumber Company for many years and was currently employed at the Mansfield Cleaning Company. He was meticulous in caring for the family home, enjoyed mowing the lawn, and loved the outdoors. He was an avid Notre Dame and Cleveland Browns fan.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Dorothy (Ross) Kaple of New Washington; Diane (John) Hunziker of Cleveland, OH; Tim (Yvonne)Kaple of Dublin, OH; Steve (Mary) Kaple of Clyde, OH; Sharon Kaple of Bucyrus, OH; Jule (Frank Dauria) Kaple of Tiro, OH; Keith Kaple of Tiro, OH; Mary (Doug) Kehres of Van Wert, OH; Randy (Lori) Kaple of Bucyrus, OH; Neal Kaple of Port Orange, FL; Kenny Kaple of New Washington, OH; and Todd (Melissa) Kaple of Shelby, OH; aunts, Donna Jean Jones, Margaret Sand, and Pat Wechter; numerous nieces and nephews who always brought a smile to his face, and his furry friend, Arlo. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Kaple; nieces, Leah Kaple and Morgan Kelley, and several uncles and aunts.
Visitation will be at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM with Fr. George Mahas officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard’s Catholic Church or to the Crawford County Humane Society.
