May Louise Walton age 85 of Upper Sandusky, died at Westbrook Assisted Living, Upper Sandusky on Sept. 13, 2021. She was born on Apr. 15, 1936, in Wyandot Co. to the late Robert and Desta (Robinson) Rife. She married Richard L. Walton and he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 2017. Surviving is her daughter Janet (Lyn) Makeever, Bucyrus and son Jack Walton, Upper Sandusky, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother Robert Rife and a sister Ruth Weatherholtz.

Mrs. Walton was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church.  She was a homemaker and assisted her husband on their family farms.  Mrs. Walton served on the church service guild where she helped prepare many funeral dinners and was a member of the church choir.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and baking cookies for the church and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sept. 16, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Interment will be held in Old Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. before the time of the services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E.
