Mary E. Busse, 84, of Galion passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Crestwood Care Center, Shelby with her family including Cindy, Tim and Josh at her side.
She was born July 24, 1934 in Galion and was the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Dennis) Sebring. Mary married Marion Busse and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2001.
Mary graduated from Mt. Gilead High School and had worked at the former HPM in Mt. Gilead and as a custodian at the Mt. Gilead Schools. She enjoyed cooking, reading, word puzzle books and collecting owls. Mary loved her pets, especially her dog Biscuit who passed away two years ago and currently her cat, Milo. She cherished the time she spent with grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Mary is survived by daughters Cindy (Tim) Pinyerd of Galion and Kelly (Mike) Kirkpatrick of Cardington; son Dennis Busse of Delaware; six grandchildren Brandy, Josh, Nick, Jordan, Zach and Rebekah and three great-grandchildren Lillie, Logan and Damion.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Kim Smith and a brother Max Sebring.
At her request, there will be no funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society serving Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
