Mary Ann Bishop, 75, of Galion passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Galion Hospital.
She was born June 10, 1942 in Lackawanna, New York and was the daughter of the late Cletus and Lea Ann (Bloshure) Spiegel. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harry Bishop whom she married on June 26, 1962.
She was a 1960 graduate of Bucyrus High School. Mary worked as a nurse’s aide at Bucyrus Community Hospital and in the home health industry with the former Star Home Health Care. She camped with her husband at Candlewood and enjoyed gambling, bowling and going to breakfast with friends and Granny’s Kitchen.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Robert J. (Mary) Bishop of Marion and Michael (Kate) Bishop of Galion; daughter Catherine Bishop of Johnsville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will have a memorial service at a later time.
