Mark Allen Betti, age 62 of Bucyrus, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 28, 1962, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, to the late Anthony and Elizabeth “Joanne” (McGrady) Betti, and he married the love of his life, Paula (Yaussy), on July 16, 1983. He graduated from Crestline High School in 1980.

Mark worked as a meat cutter at various places for nearly 30 years, and he even owned and operated his own meat shop in Crestline, Betti Family Market. He enjoyed keeping busy, and he was always hard at work somewhere. He grew up attending St. Joseph Catholic Church, and most recently, he enjoyed reading the daily devotional.

Mark was a lover of the outdoors, whether that meant taking care of his property and mowing the lawn or more extravagant adventures like camping and hunting. He especially enjoyed his time at Camp Suzanna in Benezette, Pennsylvania, where he spent his free time.

Spending time with his family was Mark’s favorite thing, and he loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Paula Betti; his children Andrew (Krista) Betti, Toni (Josh) Schafer, and Renae (Joseph Lawhun) Betti; his grandchildren Isaac, Jenna, Brooklyn, Mason, Shelby, Hudson, Ely, and Ean; his brother Michael Betti; and his special nieces and nephew Amber, Ashley, and Jordan Bostic.

He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Joanne Betti and his sisters Beth Ann Betti and Carla Tucker.
