Marilyn K. Beck, 76, of rural Galion passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at home.
She was born June 3, 1947 in Shelby and was the daughter of George Maurice and Caroline Matilda (Ferguson) Lash. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Beck whom she married on November 8, 1969.
She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1966. Marilyn worked at the former North Electric in Galion, Hi-State in Lexington, Crawford Nursery and for a brief time as a cook at the AMVETS Post 27 in Bucyrus. She enjoyed flowers, sewing, crafts and watching movies and especially loved being with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Tim (Beth) Beck of Huron, Ohio; grandson Ryan Beck; two sisters, Erma Galleger of Kansas, Ohio and Carol Stuckman of Bucyrus and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Beck; two sisters, Linda Dutcher and Janet Horsley and brother-in-law Gary Stuckman.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Iberia Cemetery, Township Road 49, Iberia, Ohio 43325 with Pastor Joe Stafford officiating.
