Marilyn Jo Carpenter, age 76, went to be with the Lord December 27, 2020. Marilyn was born to the late Ernest and Gladys (Hotelling) Vehrs January 21, 1944, in Upper Sandusky. Marilyn married Mark S. Carpenter March 24, 1990, they shared 30 beautiful years together. Marilyn was preceded in death by parents, first husband, Grady Gene Beecham, and one brother.
Marilyn is survived by husband, Mark Carpenter; children, Rex Beecham, Dale (Barbara) Beecham, Sharon (Kurtis Wilson) Beecham, Karen (Larry Sr.) Massey, Dayanne (Ben) Lucius, Maylee Dauchenbaugh; three brothers, five sisters, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was a member of Victory and Truth Ministries. She was also a member of Amvets of Bucyrus. She loved spending time with family, doing crossword puzzles, and rooting for her favorite team the Green Bay Packers. Marilyn enjoyed cleaning up around the house and making sure everything was neat and tidy and loved visiting Amish Country. Marilyn worked as a health aide for many years. She worked at Altercare of Bucyrus and Wyandot Manor, she loved working with and helping people.
Visiting Hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 2 PM-4 PM Saturday, January 2. There will be a service following visitation at 4 PM. Memorials may be made to the Victory and Truth Church. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
