Margaret M. Kuns, 77, of Galion passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 4, 1943, in Toledo, she was the daughter of Donald and Margaret (McLaughlin) Green. She married Arthur “Art” Kuns on August 19, 1961, and they enjoyed 60 years together.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion. Margaret worked as a secretary for over 30 years at the former Stan Gregory State Farm Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Women of The Moose 177 and a former member of the Emblem Club at the Galion Elks. Margaret enjoyed playing cards, organizing family trips to Las Vegas, and was an Ohio State University and Cleveland Cavs fan.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three children, David (Jeanne) Kuns, Scott (Jennifer) Kuns, and Kara (Tom) Sovacool, all of Galion; eight grandchildren, Meghan (Brent) Tyrrell, Maura Rider, Ryan Kuns, Lindsey (Alex) Debo, Jordan Kuns, Garrett Kuns, Hannah Sovacool and Nate Sovacool; five great-grandchildren, Quinn, Sutton, Maddox, Rowan, and Cecelia; brother Jim Green and sister Pat Reed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by great-granddaughter Rory Tyrrell and sisters Mary Ann Sloan and Kathy Lamb.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
