Marcia L. Corbin, 77, Galion, died unexpectedly, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Wexner Medical Center, Columbus after a short illness.

Marcia was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on October 9, 1940 to the late Nova G. (Kissling) Pry.  She married William H. Corbin on May 26, 1973 and he preceded her in death on February 24, 1990.

Marcia was a former member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church.  Marcia was a secretary for the North Electric Company as well as an Executive Secretary for the Perfection Company until it closed. She then went into the Customer Service Department at Lifetouch until she retired.  Marcia decided retirement wasn’t for her just yet. She found a position at Walmart in the cash office until she finally decided to retire for good.  Some of Marcia’s loves were to crochet, cross stitch, fish, and she was quite a seamstress. She enjoyed watching birds out of her kitchen window, especially the cardinals.  But overall, Marcia’s greatest love was her children and grandchildren.  She was so very proud of each and every one of them.

Marcia is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Marcy Armstrong of Nicholasville, KY; son, Mark and Jo Anne Armstrong of Galion; stepchildren, Colleen and Joe Maurer of Marblehead, Cindy Main of Columbus; granddaughter, Amanda and Nicholas Rodriguez; grandsons, Matt and Andy Maurer; sister, Chris Kohls of Galion; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved furry friend, her Shih Tzu, Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Nova and Franklin Pry.

Friends may call Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 11:00am -1:00pm at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion.  Funeral services will follow Saturday, at 1:00pm at Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, Galion, with Pastor Ash Welch officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
