Lou Ann Delaney, 63, of Galion passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at home unexpectedly.

She was born April of 1954 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Rinehart & Jane Rinehart who survives in Galion. Lou Ann married David Delaney on January 7, 1972 and he survives.

She was a graduate of Northmor High School in 1972 and worked as a machine operator for the former Geauga Plastics in Crestline, Core in Mt. Gilead and as a cashier at Home Depot.  She loved her dogs, Casey and Maddie, working in the garden, the Beatles and collecting Randy “Macho Man” Savage memorabilia.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is also survived by her son, Dan Delaney of Galion; brother Tim (Teresa) Rinehart of Galion; nieces, Stacey Geiger and Stephanie (Colton) Cassadey; mother-in-law, Ellen Delaney of Mt. Gilead.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.
